Horsing Around – The On-line Exhibition
The Horsing Around – A Sculpture Trail Around North Lincolnshire project took place in 2024. The trail was part of North Lincolnshire Museums programme to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of George Stubbs. The trail saw 20 horse sculptures ride into our area. 10 life size horse trotted up in North Lincolnshire, including in our parks and outside our historic buildings. A further 10 miniature horses galloped to Normanby Hall Country Park.
Every horse was lovingly decorated by an artist. Each artist worked with a school or community group to bring their horse to life!
The sculpture trail has now finished.
