The Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley is the story of the discovery and excavation of two Anglo-Saxon cemeteries at the site of Sawcliffe in Roxby cum Risby during the 1990s. The exhibition will be looking at how these cemeteries fit into the landscape around them and how they relate to other sites in the local area. Together, these sites reveal the fascinating history of Winterton Vale, the Hidden Valley, and its place in Anglo-Saxon England.
