Step inside the Ironstone Cottage. Explore home life in a typical Scunthorpe working class house. The Ironstone Cottage originally stood on Church Street, Scunthorpe. It was rebuilt at the Museum in 1963.
Visitors can handle all objects in the cottage.

Victorian Parlour
Peek through the window of the original Frodingham Vicarage parlour. The room is set out as a typical Victorian parlour. Featuring an original display case containing fossil specimens from the Canon Cross Collection. The chimneypiece from Bottesford Manor has the crest of the Peacock family.
The Ironstone Cottage and Victorian Parlour are located on the ground floor of the Museum.
