The Coleby Plough Jag

These films about the Coleby Plough Jag were commissioned as part of the North Lincolnshire Museum exhibition, Mo Ogg, The Bard of Coleby.

For decades the Plough Jag had not been performed in North Lincolnshire, until Mo Ogg restarted it. After much research and talking to local people, Mo recreated the Plough Jag. The first performance of the Coleby Plough Jag was in 1973. This film shows the Plough Jag performance in January 2024.

The second film features interviews with past and present members of the Coleby Plough Jag.
